First introduced to the US in 1899, Prunus salicina ‘Shiro’ is by far the juiciest Japanese plum with large rounded bright yellow fruits. Partially self-fertile, this variety crops better with cross-pollination. Grows 15-18’ tall (semi-dwarf). Hardy to USDA zone 5. 7-gallon pot.
