Warranty & Return Policy
 

Thank you for shopping at Amsterdam Garden Centre!

We warranty the viability of all tree and shrub purchases for 90 days.  Any return of an unviable tree &/or shrub must be approved by our nursery department manager, and be accompanied by a receipt and original tags to receive a store credit (no cash refund).  This warranty does not apply to damage or death caused by extreme weather conditions, vandalism, negligence, acts of a person, animal, insect or incurable disease occurring after purchase.  Returns are not accepted on items that have been planted, due to concern of soil contamination.

Hardgood items may be returned with the receipt within 7 days for a cash refund, and within 14 days for a store credit (excludes fertilizers, pesticides, fountains, greenhouse plastic, and clearance items).

Returns on any product that has been ‘Special Ordered’ is subject to a 20% re-stocking fee with the remainder of the value given in a store credit (no cash refund).  

We do not warranty or accept returns on annuals, bulbs, perennials, aquatic plants, fish, indoor plants, and seeds.

Pesticide regulations differ for each city.  It is the homeowners’ responsibility to abide by their own Pesticide Use Control Bylaw.
